Softeners are equipment used for the total or partial removal of calcium (Ca ++) and magnesium (Mg ++) salts, responsible for hardness and, consequently, limescale deposits; the softeners of the TECNOBLUE HOME LINE series are proposed for this function, improving the performance of systems for potable, technological and process use. Softened water, used for these purposes, guarantees better yields, greater energy savings and a much lower use of detergents and soaps in general for washing, cleaning and hygiene.

They are therefore applied in the following contexts

• hot and cold sanitary water distribution circuits
• boilers for the production of hot water and heating
• laundry, washing machines and dishwashers

They are equipped as standard with an adjustable mixing valve, incorporated in the head, which allows you to adjust the desired residual hardness at the appliance outlet and to exclude it in case of maintenance.

The water pressure in the network must not exceed the maximum allowed; possibly install a pressure reducer upstream of the softener. Also check that the minimum pressure during the regeneration phase does not drop below the minimum recommended, as it would cause the softener to malfunction.
