Product informations
SKU 11428 / 11421
Fully synthetic, biodegradable polyesters (POE) based lubricants, these are specifically designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems loaded with non-ozone-depleting alternative refrigerants.
Product features
- superior lubricity characteristics compared to conventional mineral-based lubricants
- excellent anti-wear performance for steel and aluminium surfaces, extending the service life and efficiency of the lubricated system
- chemically and thermally stable products compatible with mineral oil or alkylbenzene residues that may remain in a system after replacement by CFC or HFC refrigerants
- miscibility with both mineral-based and synthetic oils (polyalphaolefins - PAO or polyesters - POE); if mixed with lubricants of a different nature or viscosity, the product's characteristics or performance are obviously altered
- anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection of metals, particularly copper alloys
- compatibility with varnishes, elastomers and paints
- formulation with biodegradable bases that are not hazardous to human health, protecting operators and the environment in the event of accidental spillage
- the products are NOT compatible with polyalkylene glycol-based oils (PAG)
Employment
These lubricants are specifically used as an initial fill for piston, rotary or centrifugal compressors in closed or semi-closed systems for domestic or industrial refrigeration and vehicle air conditioning systems.
- ISO 22, 32, 46, 68: suggested use in piston compressors
- ISO 68, 100, 120, 150, 170, 220: suggested use in screw or centrifugal compressors
- ISO 80: suggested use in electric compressors or systems requiring a dielectric compressor lubricant (complies with IEC specification 61099)
They are also suitable for use in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems loaded with non-ozone-depleting alternative refrigerants such as R134a, R404a, R407c and R410a.
They can be used in systems that switch from R12, R22, R505 to ozone-friendly refrigerants.
WARNINGS
These products are not recommended in ammonia systems (in this case we recommend mineral-based ones).
The products are hygroscopic, they therefore absorb ambient humidity and condensation water, it is recommended to hermetically seal the packages after use and to store them in dry places with a temperature between -20°C ÷ +40°C. In the case of storage below -20°C, it is recommended to heat the product above 20°C before use, in order to remove as much moisture as possible.
SKU 11427 / 11426
Vacuum pump lubricants consist of a mixture of pure base oils with appropriate additives, specifically formulated for the lubrication of vane or rotary vacuum pumps for which a specific lubricant is to be used.
Product features
- high heat resistance
- good stability
- excellent EP lubricating and anti-drop characteristics
Employment
Vacuum pump lubricants are used for the lubrication of vacuum pumps and compressed air equipment where lubrication conditions are most critical.
