Product informations
Paste sealant for threaded joints, suitable for gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuels, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemical substances; its low coefficient of friction ensures easy assembly and prevents the sealant from dripping during hardening.
Product features
- replaces PTFE and hemp tapes
- the hardened product forms a tough film with medium disassembly resistance
- ease of screwing and tenacious fixing
NB. To seal PVC, PP or Nylon fittings, use only P.T.F.E. based sealant (SKU 50950 / 50951) by pre-treating the plastic threads with the activator (SKU 50959), screw and tighten within 1 minute (longer waiting times can break the sealant film that is already forming. Do not use the thread sealer on ABS and polycarbonate threads, for other types of materials ask in advance for our technical opinion.
