Product informations
Transition fitting designed to allow the passage of fuel gas from a plant in plastic material (polyethylene) to a metal one, or to allow fuel gas to leave the ground of distribution systems.
The joints of polyethylene pipes to metal pipes are made by means of a threaded connection for the conveyance of combustible gases under pressure.
The purpose of this type of coupling is to ensure the permanent electrical separation between the underground and overhead parts of a gas system, in order to protect the downstream part of the coupling from any stray currents that could damage the pipeline and promote corrosion.
